I have come that they may
have life and have it to the full - Jesus
  John 10:10

Come get involved on Sunday morning!

Read below to find out more about ONE LIFE,
the Sunday morning program for 7th - 12th graders!

Why L1FE?

We believe the one life of Jesus impacts one heart and life at a time and that life in turn impacts another life and so on.

What is the Sunday morning structure?

  • L1FE meets each Sunday morning from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
  • The school year is divided into three 12 week trimesters.
  • Prior to each trimester, there will be a registration form for students to choose an option. Each trimester there will be a class available in the Big House as well as several other options for students to serve and learn alongside adults in various ministries throughout the church.
  • On the registration form, students will specify their first, second, and third choices. The student will be placed and information mailed to you that will communicate placement, information, and expectations regarding that placement. Upperclassmen will receive priority of choices, as they have less time in the program than the younger students.

Why this structure?

  • This structure gives students choice and variety.
  • It allows for students to feel useful as they serve in the Body of Christ and to see themselves significantly connected to the church body as we all serve together on the mission God has given us to help each other become fully devoted followers of Christ.
  • It allows for students to experiment, discover, and grow their passions, abilities, and spiritual gifts.
  • It allows for intergenerational relationships to be built. Students will feel known and have one more Christian adult model and mentor in their lives.
  • The class offered encourages steps toward greater Biblical knowledge and spiritual growth.
  • This structure lifts up our five core values for L1FE (pronounced as One Life)
  • WORSHIP- striving to celebrate God’s presence and honor Him with our lifestyles.
  • BIBLE- striving to grow in our knowledge and application of the Truth.
  • COMMUNITY- striving to connect people so we feel known, cared for, useful, and encouraged.
  • SERVICE- striving to discover our gifts and passions for use in the Church and develop our hearts by serving those in need outside of the Church.
  • EXCELLENCE- striving to honor God in all we think, say, and do. This brings us back to WORSHIP!
